Nairobi National Park Pride

A Lioness yawning from a power nap at the Nairobi National Park

Have you ever felt that you needed to get away, to someplace that feels perfect by human hand, away from the busy city activities and where the natural world extends as far as the eye can see? Well, we as the Versatile School Of Photography have your interest at heart.

Cherished memories of a great safari on a hot day. The pride was in no hurry of waking up from its late afternoon power nap. Observing it sleep for three hours at the Nairobi National Park was very special because it was just it and us. It took us several attempts to have a fine, strong, strapping animal, a joy to behold capture, minutes after it woke up and spotted a prey. How David Macharia, the wildlife photographer set up his camera resulting in the photo could not have been timed more perfectly.

This exclusive photo has 20 pieces printed on high quality canvas size A1 (24″x 36″), with 2 already sold and 18 remaining. The cost of the image is $400 and proceeds from the sale  will sponsor deserving students to study Professional Photography, Film making and entrepreneurial skills at Versatile School Of Photography.

Motivating the society in caring for our wildlife is part of our conservation effort through taking photographs which result in telling a story.
